A support service that provides a volunteer on a one to one basis to visit an isolated senior, physically disabled adult, or person with Alzheimer Disease or other dementias, on a regular basis.

This service is designed to break the isolation and anguish generated by the loneliness that people face when living alone,  in residence or in nursing home.

Services provided by volunteers, according to client's interests:

  • Talking

  • Reading

  • Writing letters

  • Shopping

  • Taking clients for walks

  • Accompany the client to a social activity or play games 

  • Other activities as determined by client and volunteer.

There is no fee for this service.
