 A
support service that provides escorted transportation to medical
appointments, shopping and to various social activities and programs
depending on our volunteers' availability.
Transportation is provided by
our employees as well as our trained and carefully selected volunteers.
The clients who meet the following criteria are eligible:
- They are unable to access
public transportation because of short or long term physical
limitations;
- They require escorts
during the trip because of frailty or cognitive impairment;
- They have no access to
specialized transit or the individual does not meet the eligibility
criteria;
- They have no access to
public transportation and friends and relatives are not available or
able to provide transportation.

Transportation
services are provided by trained volunteers who dedicate their
time and effort to helping others. |

- Between Eglinton and Hwy
401, between Victoria Park and the Humber River: $6

- North of HWY 401, Between
HWY 427 and Markham Road : $10 round trip
RESERVATIONS AND HOURS

To
reserve, call (416) 203-7933 at least 48 hours before your appointment
and up to a week ahead. You will need to give the date and
time of your appointment, the exact address and the number of
persons needing transportation if you need to be
accompanied.
Our hours of operation are: Monday to Friday,
from 9
am to 5 pm.

Our
transportation service allows clients to participate
in activities of daily living, which are essential to their physical and
emotional well-being.
If
you must cancel, it is very important to call (416) 203-7933 as soon as
possible and to leave a message if there is no answer.

We
will respond to as many requests as possible
based on the day, time and location of the appointment and our
volunteers’ availability. |

It
is strictly forbidden to call the volunteers directly to request
a transportation service. |
