Press Release Regarding Face-to-Face Activities at CVA

The Ontario government recently released details of the steps being taken to carefully and gradually relax public health measures, effective January 31, 2022, and with that comes some positive changes related to the CVA.

We are pleased to share changes that will allow us to socialize and restart activities.

Face-to-face CVA activities are starting up again

With face-to-face activities starting up again, the CVA will continue to implement all social distancing and hygiene measures and all safety measures recommended by Toronto Public Health.
We will continue to sanitize all tables, chairs and any objects used and/or touched by clients.
Please refer to the activity calendar for details of planned activities. On the invitation or poster of each activity you will find the number of places that will be available.

Outings and transportation

We are looking forward to seeing the CVA outings start again!
As soon as we do, the AAC will start its outings again. To use the CAH transportation, you should have received at least the two doses of the COVID-19 vaccine.

Reminders

  • Masks must always be worn
  • Proper hand sanitization is important
  • Both doses of the COVID-19 vaccine (at least) are required to participate in activities offered by the CVA
