A heartfelt boost for the most vulnerable

High rents and food insecurity continue to worry Toronto’s seniors.

Fortunately, the community can count on CAH to identify those most in need among its clients.

Year in, year out, Christmas Sharing gives the CAH team the flexibility to provide nearly 90 seniors with grocery vouchers and other assistance to help them absorb unexpected expenses.

These needs are identified by CAH case managers with the help of care attendants. They are in constant communication with their senior clients in Toronto, and it is they who are on the front line in identifying those whose unexpected expenses are throwing them into disarray: buying a new pair of glasses, a hearing aid, caring for a sick pet…

Christmas Sharing also enables the CAH team to subsidize (partially or fully) the cost of accessing programs and services. In 2023-2024, CAH subsidized its customers to the value of nearly $40,000, an assistance made possible thanks to the generosity of our donors.

How to contribute to Christmas Sharing in PERSON?

Attend the Christmas show by the Ensemble vocal Les voix du coeur, presented on SATURDAY, DECEMBER 7 at 20:30pm at the Paroisse du Sacré-Coeur.

Pay what you can at the door. All proceeds from the Christmas show will be donated to CAH!! Join us on December 7 at 2:30 pm (at 381 Sherbourne St.) for the show presented for years by l’Ensemble vocal Les voix du coeur for the benefit of francophone seniors in the community.

Give an elderly person (or couple) a personalized basket that will meet their needs while bringing a little whimsy to their door.
