Toronto Challenge (Défi Toronto)

THEY WALKED WITH US on June 11, 2023! After a 3-year hiatus, the Toronto Challenge returned to Nathan Phillips Square on June 11, 2023. The annual event has been dedicated for 30 years to raising funds for organizations dedicated to seniors in the community and residents of long-term care homes.

Since CAH is celebrating its 45th anniversary this year, we wanted to mark the occasion! Thanks to the financial support of our partners, we were able to provide a welcoming meeting spot for the group of happy Francophone and Francophile participants. Our meeting point was quite visible, in CAH colours with a station offering mini-croissants and pains au chocolat from the French bakery La Bastille, washed down with coffee and tea. Colleagues, family and friends, pets, all were invited to this fun event. It was the perfect intergenerational activity. The City offered us a little warm-up before we set off. Water was provided along the circuit. And the walk allowed us to discover downtown Toronto.

For this occasion we are joining forces with our valued partners: Farfo, Entité 3, Entité 4 and Hélène Tremblay Lavoie Foundation. Over 30 participants walked for CAH! See our souvenir album of the event.
